Top 10 Prop Bets for Super Bowl LV

Top 10 Prop Bets for Super Bowl LV: Starting off Hot: For bettors and non-bettors alike, prop bets make the Super Bowl very exciting. The Super Bowl and prop bets go together like peanut butter and jelly. Sportsbooks list tons of props for the big game every year.

William Hill is offering over 1,200 prop bets for Super Bowl LV. Here are my top ten picks from that menu.

If you don’t bet with William Hill, the majority of these props are available on all sportsbooks!

Top 10 Prop Bets for Super Bowl LV: Starting off Hot

1 | Anytime TD Scorer: Rob Gronkowski (+250)

Rob Gronkowski has only caught two passes in the NFL Playoffs. The Buccaneers have a lot of weapons and Gronk is at the bottom of the list. However, the upside of this prop at +250 is phenomenal.

Gronk still has what it takes to come up big. Against the Chiefs in Week 12, the future Hall of Famer caught six passes for 106 yards. He has pulled in seven touchdowns receptions this season.

This could be Gronk’s final game of his NFL career so I would not be surprised if he goes out on top with a touchdown reception from Tom Brady.

2 | Team to Record First Sack: Buccaneers (-135)

The Buccaneers have the best front seven in football. The unit has recorded seven sacks in three playoff games. I like them to record the first sack because of Kansas City’s damaged offensive line.

Chiefs’ LT Eric Fisher will not play because of an injured Achilles. Fisher is a two-time Pro Bowl selection so his presence will be missed on Sunday.

3 | To Win Super Bowl MVP: Tom Brady (+200)

If the Buccaneers win, Tom Brady will be the MVP. Tampa Bay is not the best rushing team in the NFL. For them to win, they will need to run the ball at times, but Tom Brady is going to have to take control of Super Bowl LV.

In Brady’s six Super Bowl victories, he has been named MVP four times. I like those numbers…

4 | Travis Kelce Yards of First Reception: Over 12.5 (+105)

Travis Kelce is dangerous because of his ability to rack up yards after the catch. In the playoffs, he has averaged 10.8 yards per reception. In the regular season, he averaged 13.5 yards per reception.

Top 10 Prop Bets for Super Bowl LV

I think Travis Kelce is going to start hot and slow down. The Buccaneers will need to tackle Kelce, and this will take time. For +105, I like Kelce going over 12.5 yards on his first catch.

5 | Rob Gronkowski Yards of First Reception: Over 7.5 (-110)

I believe Rob Gronkowski will find the endzone in Super Bowl LV, but this yardage prop is a LOCK. Gronk has caught two passes in the playoffs. One catch was against the Saints in the Divisional Round and the other was versus the Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

These catches went for 14 yards and 29 yards. Gronk strikes big when he is forgotten by the opposition.

Top 10 Prop Bets for Super Bowl LV: Staying Hot

6 | Player to Commit First Turnover: Tom Brady (+200)

Tom Brady is not immune to playoff interceptions. In the regular season, he threw 12 picks and in the NFC Championship, he threw three interceptions.

I think Brady will win the MVP, but he will make one mistake early in the game.

7 | Leonard Fournette Total Rushing Yards: Over 48.5 (-115)

Leonard Fournette has taken control of the running back position at this point in the season over Ronald Jones II. Both backs are getting carries, but Fournette has recorded better numbers as of late.

In three playoff games, Fournette has gone over 48.5 yards in every appearance. Fournette is also the feature back on passing downs so he usually stays in when the Buccaneers convert. Over 48.5 yards is a gimmie on Sunday.

8 | Tom Brady Total Rushing Yards: Over .5 (+140)

Would it be a Super Bowl without a vintage Tom Brady quarterback sneak? I don’t think so! The Chiefs are going to pressure Brady, but his defense mechanism has been to throw the ball up for grabs under pressure. This does not result in a lot of sacks.

If the Buccaneers offensive line is able to keep Brady clean, I think he will end the night with 3 yards. This will give him room to spare when the Buccaneers line up in victory formation at the end of the night.

9 | Devin White Total Tackles + Assists: Over 10.5 (+115)

Devin White has emerged as the leader of the Buccaneers defense. He has been spectacular in the playoffs. I like him going over 10.5 tackles for a few reasons.

He had 12 total tackles against Kansas City in Week 12. In the Divisional Round and NFC Championship, he recorded 11 and 15 total tackles respectively.

With Eric Fisher sidelined, this makes it that much easier for Devin White to cause disruption. White will go over 10.5 tackles for the third straight game on Sunday.

10 | Coin Toss Heads or Tails: Tails (-101)
