Betting Preview Bucks versus Jazz
The Milwaukee Bucks (16-9) travel to Utah for a clash of two of the hottest teams in the NBA playing against the Jazz (20-5). This is an early-season matchup between two very good teams that are expected to go deep in the playoffs. We all know what Milwaukee is capable of, but the Jazz has sort of coming out of nowhere, leading the Western Conference.
The Jazz has been one of the best teams at home all season going 10-2, while Milwaukee is a .500 team on the road (7-7). It is clear that both of these teams prefer playing at home, and their record backs it up.
Giannis Carrying the Bucks

To no surprise, Giannis Antetokounpo has been the best player on the Bucks and a major driving force to their success. Antetokounmpo is currently averaging 28.1 points per game, 11.1 assists per game, and 5.5 assists. The entire Bucks offense runs through Antetokounmpo, but it’sit’s time for role players like Kris Middleton to take the next step and relieve some of the burdens off of Antetokounmpo’sAntetokounmpo’s shoulders. The Bucks are usually a great regular season team that struggles to go deep in the NBA playoffs.
Mitchell and Gobert Power Jazz
Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert have emerged as one of the best guard and center duos in the entire NBA. Gobert made headlines in the offseason after signing a five year $205 million extension keeping him with the Jazz for the near future. This contract was looked at by some around the NBA as a joke as the Jazz made Gobert one of the highest-paid players in the league.
With Mitchell leading the Jazz in points per game with 24.0 and Gobert are leading the Jazz with 13.5 rebounds per game, the Jazz have two All-Star caliber players at two key positions. In this specific matchup, the Jazz has the matchup advantage at guard with Jrue Holiday not playing due to Covid-19, but Gobert is a much better center than Bucks Brook Lopez.

Jrue Holiday Absence
Friday night, the Bucks will be without guard Jrue Holiday, who recently tested positive for Covid-19. Holiday’s absence will be something to note as the Bucks will be missing 16.4 points per game, and Holiday would be guarding Donovan Mitchell.
Last Five Games
No question about it, the Bucks and Jazz are top NBA contenders and have been red hot of late. The significant part of this matchup is that one of these very good teams has to lose. This game could be a major tell on which team is better this year as we don’t always get such great regular-season games.
Bucks (4-1)
Milwaukee has taken care of business, winning the games that they are supposed to win. The Bucks’Bucks’ most recent loss was by one point to the Phoenix Suns.
Jazz (5-0)
The Jazz is on fire, recently winning the last five games. Utah has been scoring at a high pace and has solid defenders winning these last few games by a large margin.
Injuries
Bucks
Jrue Holiday – Out (Positive for Covid-19)
Jazz
Mike Conley – Day to Day (hamstring)
Elijah Hughes – Questionable (ankle) Hughes missed Utah’sUtah’s last game against the Celtics.
Early Odds
Bucks +2 (-110) Over/Under 232.5 (-110)
Jazz -2 (-110) Over/Under 232.5 (-110)
Prediction: Jazz -2
Expect the Utah Jazz to cover in this one. The Jazz is hot and healthy right now, and that gives them the advantage over the Jrue Holiday less Milwaukee Bucks as Covid-19 is impacting the road team. Rudy Gobert will be a mismatch and should cause chaos down low. Jazz cover and win this one.
