Ohio State at Wisconsin Betting Preview: Two of the top teams in the Big Ten Conference will meet up on Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center in Madison Wisconsin. The Badgers will host the Ohio State Buckeyes and both teams are currently ranked in the Top 25.

Ohio State comes into this game with an 11-4 overall record, and they have gone 5-4 so far in conference action. The Buckeyes are currently in the top-half of the Big Ten Conference, but a win in this game would be a huge boost of confidence.

The Wisconsin Badgers are 6-2 so far in the Big Ten Conference and they have an 11-3 record overall. Wisconsin is currently tied for second place in the league, but the Badgers must keep stacking up wins.

The Wisconsin Badgers are 4.5-point favorites over the Ohio State Buckeyes in this Big Ten Conference showdown.

Ohio State at Wisconsin Betting Preview: Ohio State Wants to Score

The Ohio State Buckeyes are averaging nearly 77 points per game this season, and that offense has had some monster games of late. Ohio State had scored at least 79 points in three straight games before suffering a loss against Purdue.

Duane Washington Jr. and E.J. Liddell have carried the Buckeyes on the offensive end of the floor, combining for more than 29 points per game. Washington is the best perimeter shooter on this Ohio State roster, while Liddell does a little bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor.

Ohio State has also been solid on the defensive end of the floor, allowing less than 68 points per game. The Buckeyes don’t have a ton of size, and that could present some challenges against a bigger and more physical Wisconsin team.

Ohio State at Wisconsin Betting Preview: Wisconsin Winning With Defense

Wisconsin continues to be one of the most boring teams to watch in the Big Ten Conference, but that style of play remains hard to beat. Wisconsin wants to slow the game down, and they will look to frustrate the Buckeyes with some tough defense.

The Badgers average just 73 points per game, but they hold opponents to just 61 points per night. Wisconsin is a better offensive team than they get credit for, but their real strength is their defense and their depth.

D’Mitrik Trice leads the team with 14.8 points per game, and Micah Potter is scoring over 12 a night. These are the only two Badgers scoring in double-figures, but Wisconsin shoots nearly 40 percent from teh three-point line.

Wisconsin could win the Big Ten Conference this season despite not having any player worthy of anyone landing on the All-Big Ten Team.

Ohio State at Wisconsin Betting Preview: Badgers Blitz Buckeyes

Both the Buckeyes and Badgers are veteran teams, and that should allow each team to make a deep run in March. Winning at Wisconsin has been a nightmare for opponents over the past decade, and that doesn’t change even without fans in attendance.

Ohio State wants to win this game on the offensive end of the floor, but the Badgers are simply too good on defense. Wisconsin will control the pace of play in this one, and Ohio State will get frustrated with the slow tempo.

Betting the under is probably a solid play in this game, but the best bet is to take the Wisconsin Badgers at -4.5. Wisconsin is the deeper team, and their defense will allow them to take control of this game in the second half as they cruise to victory.

On Wisconsin! The Badgers roll over the Buckeyes.
