MAC Football for 2022 should become an exciting brand with several teams battling it out in the East Division and the West Division. Let’s preview the upcoming year. Saturday, September 10 is the start of conference season with Western Michigan traveling to Ball State.  The MAC Football Championship game is Saturday, December 3, 2022 and will be televised on ESPN

MAC Football- Games To Watch

Sept 17- Two conference contests worthy of our time. First, Miami (Ohio) hosts the Cincinnati Bearcats from the American Athletic Conference at Paul Brown Stadium with a noon kickoff. Also on this date, another great match-up features the Pittsburgh Panthers traveling to Western Michigan for a 7:30 PM start at Waldo Stadium.

Sept- 24- Once again Miami of Ohio is featured as they travel to Big Ten country and face Northwestern in Evanston, Illinois. Miami will be a big draw this year with the top quarterback in MAC football and Brett Gabbert, brother of NFL player Blake Gabbert.

Oct. 8- Toledo travels to Northern Illinois to face the Huskies and Kent State play Miami of Ohio in some interesting conference action. Oct. 15 finds Kent State facing Toledo in a battle of teams that are each fighting for a title this year. Then on November 2, Central Michigan goes on the road to face Northern Illinois.The next weekend, Nov. 9, Northern Illinois faces Western Michigan on the road.

Western Michigan take on Central Michigan for an in-state battle on November 16th. To round out on November 16 the conference season, Miami of Ohio is at Northern Illinois. This is a preview of the top two team in MAC football.
