Being aggressive on the rebounds, playing good defense on Giannis and Brook Lopez. In game 2, Griffin had 7 points and 8 rebounds.
The surprise player of the series is for sure Mike James. A player who was playing in Europe a few months ago, has been a vital reason why the Nets won game 1 and thrashed the Bucks in game 2.
Should Mike Budenholzer be worried about his job?
Budenholzer and the Bucks have been an amazing regular-season team since he has been in Milwaukee but in the playoffs, the magic goes away.
Against the Nets, the Bucks are shooting 44.3% from the field, 28.5% on 3-pointers, and 53.6% on free throws compared to Brooklyn’s 49.5%, 44.4%, and 87.5% respectively. Shooting 53% from the free-throw line just show’s how much this team is in shambles.
The Nets, not known for their defense have been playing amazing defense in this series or the Bucks are just not making their shots. The Nets were ranked 23rd in defense this season and have been looking like one of the best defensive teams in the league this series.
Giannis needs to take over
The two-time MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo, had a good game 1 but struggled like his whole team in game 2. Only scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds, and going 2-7 at the free-throw line.
Some of the problems I am seeing as a viewer is that Giannis on defense is usually guarding one of the worst scorers on the court such as Bruce Brown or Mike James, which is a problem matchup in the first place because of size. If Giannis gets the confidence of guarding a player like Kevin Durant or Blake Griffin and does well, it will increase his confidence on both sides of the court.
Giannis, in the series versus the Miami Heat looked like a completely different player averaging 24 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists.
It’s a best of seven
The Bucks twitter tweeted out “it’s a best of seven”, and that is true. Many teams have started up 2-0 and lost the series including the Bucks to the raptors a few years ago.
In the history of the NBA playoffs, 430 teams have found themselves trailing 2-0 in a series. Only 28 of those teams managed to make a comeback. But, none of those teams were playing Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and the talented Brooklyn Nets team.

My favorite bet throughout this season is Joe Harris 3’s. But, I think all Nets players over on 3’s is a great bet. The Bucks are known for being a weak team guarding the 3 point line. In game 1 we saw Blake Griffin and Joe Harris shooting amazing behind the 3 point line and in game 2 it was Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Joe Harris.
