He will have a former high school teammate on the outside to throw to in senior Austin Osborne, who transferred from Washington. He had 64 receptions and 546 yards last season for the Huskies. Terion Stewart returns as running back after garnering 412 yards and has the ability to break away for long runs.
Eight starters return for the defense led by senior Karl Brooks who was selected to the All-Mac team last season. the linebackers are solid and led by Darren Anders as first team conference selection.
Bowling Green Football Schedule and Prediction
Tough start with a September 4 game at UCLA. Later, they travel to Mississippi State and begin conference play on October 1 at Akron. This is coach Loeffler’s fourth season as head coach and he ha only won seven games and lost 22. Things a\have to change with wins or the boosters and admins will make a change. Maybe with the Boston College transfer and others coming in, things improve. I see them with five conference wins this year. Whether that is enough to keep his job, we will see.
