With the PGA Championship behind us, we now look forward to the next major tournament, the US Open. There are a lot of props to bet on during this 4-day tournament and they come in a wide range of topics. From clubhouse beef to hole in ones, sportsbooks have it all!
Brooks Koepka vs Bryson DeChambeau
You don’t get to see many of these interpersonal prop bets in golf tournaments, however, this US Open is an exception. This beef between Koepka and DeChambeau started at the PGA Championships, where they both constantly trolled each other in and around the clubhouse.

- No: -2000
- Yes: +750
Koepka versus DeChambeau
- DeChambeau: -115
- Koepka: -105
Although traditionalist golfers want to see rivalries on the scoreboard, these two golfers are taking it to a new level. Shenanigans and trolling at the clubhouse will be certain for these two at the US Open… and we might just include some of these quirky bets among our go-to US Open props.
Many sportsbooks have taken advantage of this public beef and have DeChambeau finishing in a higher position on the leaderboard than Koepka, rightfully so.
DeChambeau is on a hot streak right now, and that is why he is given the upper hand over Koepka. Making the cut in the past eight events, and finishing top-25 in five of those events. Not necessarily setting the golf world on fire as of late in terms of placements. But, he will be at a huge benefit during this tournament because of how long the course is and the fact that he has the longest drive in the majors.
Koepka on the other hand has been ice cold, only making the cut in one of the last 4 events he has been in. Although he did finish runner-up in the PGA Championships, he still is not in his best form, compared to what we have seen in 2017 and 2018, where he won the US Open in consecutive years.
Recent play and trends are edging DeChambeau in this highly anticipated battle.

This year’s US Open props are unique in their own way. The tournament will be taking place at the Torrey Pines South Course, the same course that the Farmers Insurance Open was played at back in January. So with that being said, there are a few key things to take away from that tournament that could be replicated again this weekend.
Amongst those that finished in the top 15 of the January Farmers Insurance Open, nine of them were from the United States, therefore indicating why they are favored to usher the winner.
As indicated above, this course is measured as the longest on the PGA tour. This allows big hitters to play exceptionally well. Headlining these big hitters are European players John Rahm, Sergio Garcia, and Rory McIlroy.
The odds to win the tournament are open for anyone to win, in fact no golfer is projected shorter than 9/1 to win. If you are expecting to make some money on props this weekend, I would personally bet on John Rahm to win.
He is currently the favorite to win at +240 and you can also gain money for the prop of him being a European as well.
